Description
White Pepper is somewhat less aromatic than black pepper and has a musty flavor that is milder than black pepper as well. Some cooks use white pepper as an alternative to black pepper for aesthetic reasons when they do not want black pepper flakes in their sauce or pasta.
Little known fact: White pepper actually comes from black pepper, but it is left on the vine longer so it becomes lighter during the drying process.
We recommend using White Pepper in pasta salads, white sauces, and seafood dishes due to its color.
